CLMP Debate Monday May 7th
The Civil Liberties Monitoring Project (CLMP) has organized a Humboldt County District #2 Supervisor Candidates’ Night, for Monday, May 7, 2012, starting at 7 pm at the Veterans Memorial Building on the corner of Conger & Locust Streets in Garberville. This public event is co-sponsored by CLMP, the Garberville Veterans Association, and KMUD Redwood Community Radio. KEET TV Debate Coming UP The League of Women Voters is sponsoring a televised forum on KEET-TV Channel 13 on Wednesday, May 2nd from 7 to 8 pm. The viewing audience will have an opportunity to phone in questions, which will be screened by LWV members to eliminate questions of a personal nature and to prevent duplication. Country Picnic Benefit, Barbecue & Auction at Whitethorn Winery
The Estelle Fennell for Supervisor Country Picnic Benefit, Barbecue & Auction on May 5 from 1-5 p.m will be an occasion for great food, live music and lots of fun at Whitethorn Winery. (inside the Whitethorn Construction yard in Whitethorn).
Supervisor Candidate Debate at the Mateel Hall
Maiden Humboldt in conjunction with KMUD radio and the Mateel Community Center present a Humboldt County Second District Supervisor Debate at the Mateel Community Center in Redway. The event on Sunday April 15, will open at 2pm with a candidate meet-and-greet and the debate between incumbent Clif Clendenen and the challenger Estelle Fennell will begin at 3pm and go to 4:30pm.
